The Brief
As they were in the process of upgrading the functionalities of the instrument, the client required an update to the UI/UX screens to incorporate the new functionalities in an easy-to-use manner.
Outcomes
The new & improvised device design has provided an impeccable desktop software user experience and has proven to provide an easy environment for the operator to manoeuvre around & gain accurate results in record time.

The challenge was to introduce an elevated physical ergonomics for the operator to operate on.
The functionalities seem to have been disorganized. Minute details such as size of the icons, placement of the icons according to usage were lacking.

Our Approach & Creations
We completely experienced the iQuant XI to understand the user journey. Considering this is a medical instrument designed to ease the process of blood testing & provide quick, accurate results, we made sure to create a holistic environment placing the most important functionalities required by the operator to conduct test, gain results & prepare reports, up front.
UX Analysis
With iQuant XI device as the reference, we began tracing the iQuant XII user journey. Keeping the device’s purpose in mind, we made sure the new designs kept the user journey intact, but elevated. Our approach was to create a complete user journey that complements the physical user journey right from collecting the sample to feeding the test kit to the device.
Visual Designs
Icons have been an essential part of the iQuant XII user interfaces that helps communicate the core idea and intent of a product or action, visually, to the operator. Each screen & icon has been designed, created & placed in the right space to ensure dexterity was not compromised and to exude the ease of use & save valuable time.
